This policy describes the Carvago tools and contact form. Other services used by the website, its hosting provider or additional plugins may have their own data practices.

Calculator inputs

The five Carvago calculators run in your browser. The calculator code does not send entered values to a Carvago calculation service, create a user account, or automatically store your work in browser storage. Printing and downloading produce files or output on your own device. Keep exported files somewhere appropriate for their contents.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form, the website processes your name, email address, message and consent choice to respond to your enquiry. The message is passed through the website’s configured email system to the site operator. Email and hosting providers may process that information as part of providing their services. The plugin does not maintain a separate database of contact-message contents.

Messages may remain in the operator’s mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and related follow-up or meet applicable obligations. Avoid sending passwords, payment data, identity documents or other sensitive information.

Basic abuse prevention and server logs

The contact form uses a security nonce, a hidden anti-spam field and a short sending limit. A salted hash derived from the connecting IP address is used for the sending limit and is set to expire after five minutes. The plugin does not intentionally save a raw IP address with a contact message. Hosting, security and email services may separately keep technical logs, including connection information, under their own settings.

Cookies and third-party services

The Carvago calculator code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress login functions, hosting tools or other installed plugins may use cookies or similar storage. The generated site assets are served locally; the calculators do not require external APIs, external fonts or embedded advertising.

Your choices

You can use the calculators without contacting us. If you have sent an enquiry and want to ask about access, correction or deletion, use the Contact page and provide enough context to identify the request. Applicable rights and any necessary retention depend on the relevant law and circumstances.

Changes and questions

This policy may be updated when site features or services change. For privacy questions, use the Contact page. The site operator should ensure this policy reflects the live hosting, plugins and any analytics, advertising or mailing services enabled on the website.
